Indeed, the peptide sharing between SARS-CoV-2 epitopes and specific tumor suppressor proteins, and, in general, many tumor-related proteins [26,27,28,29,30,31,32,33,34,35,36], theoretically predicts, in the absence of current clinical data, that a morbidity/mortality increase in various cancers might follow the current SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.
