Nevertheless, on malignant B cells obtained from 38 patients with non-Hodgkin lymphomas, the cell-surface expression of CCR1 and CCR2 varied in different types of B-cell lymphomas and was detected in 69% and 46%, respectively, of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), but only in 0% and 17% cases, respectively, of small lymphocytic leukemia [8]. The gene discussed is CCR1; the disease is B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
