Interestingly, only four circRNAs were overexpressed (circAKT3, circHIPK3, circPVT1 and hsa_circ_0000467) in GC, while the remaining seven were downregulated (Table 1), suggesting that the low expression of these circRNAs may allow the activity of LIN28 in GC to favor chemoresistance. This evidence concerns the gene LIN28A and gastric cancer.
