ROS1 is an oncogene that encodes an orphan receptor tyrosine kinase that is related to ALK. The ROS1 rearrangement occurs in approximately 2% of NSCLC and has also been associated with increased VTE risk that may be comparable to the risk in ALK-rearranged lung cancer [34,52]. This evidence concerns the gene ROS1 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
