Considering pathological and clinical characteristics of the present cohort, a strong CUX1 expression (IRS ≥ 8) was associated with a higher tumour grade (G1 vs. G2, p = 0.025, Fisher’s exact test), and there was a trend towards higher CUX1 positivity in primary tumours of patients with simultaneous distant metastasis (none vs. yes, p = 0.09, Fisher’s exact test) (Table S1). Here, CUX1 is linked to neoplasm.
