Five genes, FANCB (FA complementation group B), KIF15 (kinesin family member 15), KIF4A (kinesin family member 4A), ERCC6L (ERCC excision repair 6 like), and UBE2C (ubiquitin conjugating enzyme E2 C), were significantly hypomethylated in HCC tissues compared with non-tumor tissues (p value < 0.05 or 0.01, Fig. 3a). The gene discussed is UBE2C; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
