Interestingly, the tumor volume and weight were lower in the group treated with NKG2DIL7-CAR T cells than that with NKG2D-CAR T cells (Figure 5c,d), demonstrating that NKG2D-CAR T-cell therapy on prostate cancer could be an efficient method and introduction of IL-7 into NKG2D-CAR T cells can enhance antitumor ability in vivo. This evidence concerns the gene KLRK1 and prostate cancer.
