Several different clinico-pathological factors negatively influencing patients’ survival have been proposed for cutaneous MCC and included age, male gender, clinical evidence of lymph node metastasis, depth of tumor invasion, infiltrative growth pattern, loss of RB function, lack of MCPyV immunoreactivity, and p63 expression [16–19]. The gene discussed is RB1; the disease is metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
