Since GSK-3 is a well-known kinase that can phosphorylate tau in vitro and in vivo and has been proposed as a target for pharmacological intervention [44, 45], three GSK-3 small molecule kinase inhibitors (LiCl, AR, and A-107) were selected to be assessed on OA-induced tauopathy, cell-based model. The gene discussed is MAPT; the disease is tauopathy.
