EGFR and squamous cell carcinoma: According to the results of univariate Cox proportional hazard model(s), we identified the following parameters to have an unfavorable prognosis with the increased risk of death: age ≥65, being male, a smoking history, ECOG‐PS ≥ 2, squamous cell carcinoma, stage IV, and metastases in bone, liver, and lung, whereas the opposite results were found in patients carrying EGFR mutation, ALK rearrangement, or with number of treatment lines >3.
