After multivariate forward analysis, increased ΔAoAC (per 1 unit; HR, 1.194; 95% CI, 1.019–1.398; p = 0.028), old age (per 1 year; HR, 1.061; 95% CI 1.023–1.010; p = 0.011), diabetes mellitus (HR, 2.809; 95% CI, 1.263–6.247; p = 0.011), and increased CRP (log per 1 mg/L; HR, 3.232; 95% CI, 1.437–7.267; p = 0.005) were associated with increased CV mortality. This evidence concerns the gene CRP and diabetes mellitus.
