The expression of B7-H3 maintains in a low level in normal tissues whereas it is aberrantly overexpressed in a wide variety of cancers including gastric cancer, pancreatic cancer, neuroblastoma, endometrial cancer, glioma, melanoma, lung cancer, ovarian carcinomas and prostate cancer, suggesting B7-H3 a promising immunotherapeutic target 18-21. This evidence concerns the gene CD276 and prostate cancer.
