MYC and hepatocellular carcinoma: After HCC cells with and without stably overexpressing lncCSMD1 were treated with protein synthesis inhibitor cycloheximide (CHX), the half-life of MYC protein was observed to be longer in the cells with stably overexpressing lncCSMD1 than that in the control cells (Figure 5B), implying that lncCSMD1 can maintain the stability of MYC protein.
