In summary, our findings revealed that ETBF might act on CRC tumorigenesis via upregulating TLR4 and NFAT5, which subsequently transcriptionally upregulate JMJD2B, which increases NANOG expression by specifically demethylating promoter repressive H3K9me3, consequently promoting the CRC cells stemness. This evidence concerns the gene NFAT5 and colorectal carcinoma.
