While the current study is the first to report alterations in CD4+ T cells in the brains of both DLB patients and α-syn overexpressing animals that mimic key aspects of DLB, several groups have described disturbances in various CD4+/CD8+ T cell subsets and NK cells [42, 61–63] in the brain of PD patients and PD-like models.
