Interestingly, Weist et al. [82] approached the same question by labeling CAR T cells with 89Zr-oxine [83,84] before infusion into two xenograft tumor models for: 1) glioblastoma, in which they administrated 89Zr-oxine labeled CAR T cells targeting the IL13Rα2 epitope present on this brain tumor and 2) a subcutaneous prostate tumor NSG model, in which they injected prostate stem cell antigen-targeted CAR T cells [82]. This evidence concerns the gene IL13RA2 and neoplasm.
