As shown in Table 5, age (HR, 1.07; 95% CI, 1.01–1.13; p = 0.014), CAD (HR, 4.45; 95% CI, 1.22–16.12; p = 0.024), serum levels of albumin (HR, 0.07; 95% CI, 0.16–0.37; p = 0.002) and prealbumin (HR, 0.85: 95% CI; 0.76–0.95; p = 0.003) and sarcopenia (HR, 7.71: 95% CI; 1.83–32.57; p = 0.018) were significant risk factors for cardiovascular mortality.
