We further referred the biological functions of the DE proteins quantified by i-FASP to the previous reports (details shown in supplemental Table S7), and as many as 45.6% of the differential expressed proteins were reported to be associated with liver cancer, such as nestin (NES), and adenylyl cyclase-associated protein 1 (CAP1) (47, 48). The gene discussed is CAP1; the disease is liver cancer.
