CD8A and non-small cell lung carcinoma: Finally, some data are emerging about the worrying phenomenon of hyperprogression; in 263 NSCLC patients treated with PD-1/PDL-1 inhibitors, a lower frequency of effector/memory CD8+ T cells (CCR7− CD45RA−) and a higher frequency of severely exhausted populations (TIGIT+ T cells among PD-1+ CD8+ T cells) were associated with hyperprogression (n = 55/263) and inferior survival rate (94).
