CXCR1 and neoplasm: This analysis also revealed that signaling through CXCR1 and CXCR2 receptors expressed by TANs resulted in the activation of specific functions promoting tumor growth, such as angiogenesis, endothelial cell migration, tumor invasion, and inflammation, but also in the inhibition of apoptosis, suggesting they harbor an increased lifespan in lesions (Figure S2B).
