It must be noteworthy that there are other substrates of FBXO11 that have been identified in cancers, including scratch and other Snail homologs [9], hypoxia‐inducible factor‐1α [5] and the PI3K/Akt pathway [30]; therefore, it needs to be elucidated whether FBXO11 regulates the stemness of HCC cells through other targets. This evidence concerns the gene FBXO11 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
