We found that severe COVID‐19 patients having higher NEU (above than 4.47 × 109/L), hs‐CRP (above than 86.7 mg/L), CK (above than 101 U/L), and BUN (above than 6.7 mmol/L) on admission faced greater risk in‐hospital death. This evidence concerns the gene MAP3K14 and COVID-19.
