Flow cytometry analysis of NK cells isolated from peripheral blood (Figure 2A) or RCC tumor tissue (Figure 2B) revealed that the CD56+CD16dim/neg population was significantly enriched for RCC tumors, with mean levels nearly 8-times higher (pNK 6.3% vs. TiNK 47.5%), although variation was noted for individual patients (Figure 2C). Here, NCAM1 is linked to renal cell carcinoma.
