The current study demonstrates SLE mice have increased albuminuria by 34 weeks of age compared to control mice, consistent with previously published data (Hashish & Elgaml, 2016; Song et al., 1998), and comparable to the biological variability of albumin excretion commonly observed in humans (Stucker & Ackermann, 2011). This evidence concerns the gene ALB and systemic lupus erythematosus.
