Interestingly, eight genes (ID4, LTBP4, GPM6B, RGMA, EFCAB1, ALX4, OSR1 and PPARA) were confirmed to be down-expressed in breast cancer tissues, and associated with the overall survival time of breast cancer patients, as high expression of these genes correlate with an improved prognosis. The gene discussed is CLXN; the disease is breast carcinoma.
