Alternatively, several proteins which are studied in other cancer types, such as are androgen receptor (AR), aurora kinase A (AURKA), epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), focal adhesion kinase (FAK), fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) and transforming growth factor-β-induced (TGFBI) have also been explored in BC for their potential as therapeutic targets [13,14,15,16]. This evidence concerns the gene AURKA and cancer.
