For overall survival in colorectal cancer, three studies involving 8490 patients compared among aspirin users compared with non-aspirin users among patients with a wild-type PIK3CA gene, and the estimated pooled HRs showed no significant differences between the groups [HR = 0.79, 95%CI(0.53, 1.13)] (Fig. 5a). The gene discussed is PIK3CA; the disease is colorectal cancer.
