BRD2 and neoplasm: Together our findings indicate that there is a direct correlation between the presence of tumor cells and the T exhausted phenotype, since the percentage of T cells with an exhausted phenotype was significantly lower in NAT and non-metastatic LNs compared to the TC, IF, and metastatic LNs from the same patients, excluding the confounding effect of different genetic backgrounds (Figure 3 and Figure 5A,B).
