The accumulation of nuclear p53 was significantly associated with younger age at diagnosis (70 of 177 [39.5%] vs 138 of 608 [22.7%] younger than 50 years; P < .001) and aggressive tumor features such as grade 3 tumors (112 of 177 [63.3%] vs 134 of 608 [22.0%]; P < .001) and more ERBB2 positivity (50 of 177 [28.2%] vs 72 of 608 [11.8%]; P < .001).
