BRAF and differentiated thyroid carcinoma: Anaplastic thyroid carcinoma shares mutations with follicular and/ or papillary thyroid carcinomas, such as point mutations in BRAF and RAS, but these mutations are more common in the differentiated subtypes (Antonelli et al., 2008[3]; Ragazzi et al., 2014[54]; Salvatore et al., 2007[61]).
