Compared to those in normal tissues, CENPW expression levels were higher in various types of cancers, including brain and central nervous system (CNS) cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer, colorectal cancer, esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, head and neck cancer, liver cancer, lung cancer, ovarian cancer, pancreatic cancer and other cancers (Figure 1(a)). The gene discussed is CENPW; the disease is ovarian carcinoma.
