To assess moDC maturation status upon MAP infection, we examined the expression of T-cell priming receptors CD80/86, as well as MHCII for antigen presentation, and CD103, which was expressed on tolerogenic DCs [29], via flow cytometry at 2 h, 24 h, and 48 h post-infection of untreated immature moDCs, gating on the live, CD11c+/CD11b+ population.
