Based on this aforementioned data, as well as the results of the in vivo and in vitro experiments, the overexpression of PHLPP2 and inhibition of miR-141 or miR-424 were determined to inhibit the tumor formation whereas the overexpression of miR-141 or miR-424 could suppress the inhibitory role of PHLPP2 in relation to the development of colon cancer. This evidence concerns the gene PHLPP2 and malignant colon neoplasm.
