We found BRN2 present at predicted DNA binding sites in the upstream promoter regions of MET, TWIST1, ITGB1, and PPARG, as well as the previously described interaction with the promoter region of KITLG in both MM370 and MM455 BRN2-expressing melanoma cells compared to cells expressing lacZ, or cells not induced with doxycycline (Fig. 4c, d). This evidence concerns the gene ITGB1 and melanoma.
