Zhang et al. investigated the clinical potential of multiple lncRNAs in NSCLC patients and found that a poor prognosis was associated with high expression of H19, MALAT1, and Hox antisense intergenic RNA (HOTAIR) and low expression of taurine upregulated gene 1 (TUG1) and p21-associated ncRNA DNA damage activated (PANDA) [129]. This evidence concerns the gene TUG1 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
