Here, a model of TNF-α and LPS stimulation was used to mimic inflammation of the adipose tissue environment in order to evaluate the role of aspirin in 3T3 adipocytes, consistent with other findings showing that aspirin significantly decreased proinflammatory and angiogenic mediator secretion in adipocytes, thereby contributing to the inhibition of breast cancer 4T1 cell proliferation and migration [15].
