IL6 and Miyoshi myopathy: Given that expression of JAK2 was located on nonneoplastic cells in our MM cases, it is possible that treatment with a JAK2 inhibitor could suppress BM megakaryocytes and result in subsequent downregulation of certain cytokines such as IL‐6, thus inhibiting the proliferation of myeloma cells as well as the fibrosis.27, 42, 43
