Since γδT17 cells have been shown to play an essential role in psoriasis‐like skin inflammation and Sox13‐mutant mice are protected from psoriasis‐like dermatitis (Cai et al, 2011; Gray et al, 2013), we investigated whether the absence of γδT17 cells in the skin and skin draining lymph nodes of Maf KO mice (Appendix Fig S3G) makes them resistant to psoriasis‐inducing stimuli. This evidence concerns the gene MAF and psoriasis.
