SBF2 antisense RNA 1 (SBF2-AS1), located at the 11p15.1 locus, has been shown to play critical roles in tumor progression and function as an oncogene in several types of cancers, such as nonsmall lung cancer, cervical cancer, glioblastoma, colorectal cancer, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, and hepatocellular carcinoma [9–14]. Here, SBF2 is linked to colorectal cancer.
