FOLH1 and posterior cortical atrophy: In contrast to the organ specificity of PSA, PSMA is a transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on the cell surface of PCa cells at a much higher concentration than in normal prostate cells11,32, and though there were a few benign lesions of hyperplasias or inflammations, with a small number of false-positive cases, the overall image results were more theoretically reasonable than those obtained with mpMRI for detection of PCa with PSA levels of 4–20 ng/ml.
