Using this cut-off point, a univariate logistic regression model demonstrated, that women with a CD44/FKBPL ratio above 143.6 or 155.1 had a 2.5- or 2.4-fold increased risk of developing preeclampsia later in pregnancy (P = 0.02, P = 0.03), respectively. Here, FKBPL is linked to preeclampsia.
