We have recently reported a synthetic lethality of phosphatase and tensin homolog (PTEN) and Brg1 in prostate cancers.65 And Brg1 antagonist has been shown to be effective in treatment of PTEN-deficient prostate cancer.65 Since Brg1 is expressed broadly in many types of cells, it is important to determine the function of Brg1 in different subsets of immune cells to avoid unappreciated effects from this potential treatment strategy. This evidence concerns the gene PTEN and prostate cancer.
