Herein, it was demonstrated that, compared with the negative control, over-expression of CHPF could significantly promoted the cell proliferation (>50% promotion, P < 0.001, Fig. 5a), colony formation (>2-fold promotion, P < 0.001, Fig. 5b) and cell migration ability (>3-fold promotion, P < 0.01, Fig. 5d, e) and inhibited cell apoptosis of MM cells (>50% inhibition, P < 0.001, Fig. 5c), which was in accordance with the inhibition effect of CHPF knockdown. The gene discussed is CHPF; the disease is Miyoshi myopathy.
