Although most genes are non-differentially expressed between them, we found that FABP5 was specifically upregulated in cluster C0 which has been identified as partially exhausted CD8+ T cells (figure 2A) and validated its expression on HCC-infiltrating CD8+ T cells by multiplexed immunohistochemistry (figure 2B–2C) and FACS analysis (figure 2D). This evidence concerns the gene FABP5 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
