In the past decade, studies have identified tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) targeting epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK), and ROS proto-oncogene 1 (ROS1) as potential therapies for lung adenocarcinoma on the basis of genotyping (Sgambato et al., 2018; Singhi et al., 2019).
