In this report, we further investigate time-series of whole-genome expression data for the cell-fate change: cell differentiation (heregulin (HRG)-stimulated MCF-7 human breast cancer cells compared with non-differentiated epidermal growth factor (EGF)-stimulated MCF-7 cells [19,20]; all-trans retinoic acid (atRA)- and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO)-stimulated HL-60 human leukemia cells differentiated to neutrophil cells [21]; differentiation of T helper 17 (Th17) cells from naïve T helper (Th0) cells [22]) and reprogramming (mouse and human early embryo development, [23] and [24], respectively). This evidence concerns the gene EGF and breast cancer.
