PTH and adenoma: More importantly, and in contrast to Piccardo’s study [19], sensitivities of PET/CT and PET/4D-CT were not statistically different, and the integrated 4D-CT corrected the diagnosis for only two PET-negative hyperfunctioning parathyroids (left lower adenoma of 10 × 5 × 3 mm and 0.1 g, and right superior hyperplasia of 10 × 7 × 1 mm and <0.1 g) in two patients with pHPT and serum PTH values of 94 et 74 pg/mL, respectively.
