MKI67 and neoplasm: The reason of this discrepancy between FLT-PET imaging and IHC results might be due to the way data are collected; FLT-PET imaging data are expressed as SUVmean, i.e., the average uptake across the whole tumor, while for Ki-67, information is obtained from a limited number of tumor slices which might not be representative of the whole tumor and could bias the quality of quantification [28].
