The activity of histone deacetylase 6 (HDAC6) has been shown to be closely associated with ovarian cancer with ARID1A mutations [101], and the efficacy of HDAC6 inhibitors and combination therapy with anti-PD-L1 antibodies has been demonstrated in an OCCC mouse model lacking the ARID1A gene [102], which may also have future clinical applications. This evidence concerns the gene HDAC6 and ovarian carcinoma.
