MTOR and leukemia: Interestingly, we observed an increased risk for leukemia in cases in the allele [allele (G vs. T), PAssociation = 0.013, OR (95% CIs) = 1.24 (1.05–1.47)], homozygote [GG vs. TT, PAssociation = 0.003, OR (95% CIs) = 2.25 (1.33–3.82)], and recessive [GG vs. TT+TG, PAssociation = 0.004, OR (95% CIs) = 2.25 (1.30–3.91)] comparisons, suggesting a potential relationship between the GG genotype of mTOR rs2295080 and an increased leukemia risk in the Chinese population.
